Cartoon Network has been caught using AI Art on their India and UK YouTube channels, generating slop thumbnails for Gumball, Regular Show and Scooby-Doo videos amongst others. This trend may be starting internationally but given the current state of CN, it's entirely possible this will make its way stateside soon as more companies cut cost and replace real human artists with AI slop. However in this instance, the use of AI doesn't even make much sense as its for compilations that already pull from existing episodes, with the AI thumbnails recreating those scenes with unnecessary details and glaring errors. Let's talk about it!
