Description
After a desperate family intervention, a young man struggling with porn addiction sets out to reclaim control of his life. What follows, however, is anything but a clean path to recovery. As good intentions collide with shame, denial, and awkward honesty, the process becomes painfully complicated — and unexpectedly funny.
Who Could Have Seen This C_ming? is an unflinching yet absurd family portrait that uses humor to confront a rarely discussed issue. Balancing discomfort with empathy, the film explores control, vulnerability, and the quiet weight of addiction — revealing how recovery often unfolds in messy, imperfect steps rather than neat resolutions.

A FILM SHORTAGE SELECTION
"Who Could Have Seen This C_ming?" is a comedy short film
Directed by Tom Streller
Starring:
Tom Crawley, Victoria McConnell, David Masterson, Leo-Konrad Kuhn
Director’s Statement:
This film is deeply personal for me. After years working primarily in advertising, returning to narrative filmmaking meant confronting the fear that comes with total creative control — a theme that sits at the heart of this story.
The film tackles porn addiction, an issue I believe is far more widespread and damaging than it’s given credit for, yet rarely addressed openly. By approaching the subject with absurdity and humor, my hope is to spark conversation, reduce shame, and draw attention to those affected by it.
