U.S. Marines ACV Combat Vehicles | Operations Aboard the USS Ashland (LSD-48)

The Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) is the U.S. Marine Corps' next-generation 8x8 wheeled armored platform. Manufactured by BAE Systems in partnership with Iveco Defence Vehicles, it is replacing the legacy, tracked Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) that served for decades. The ACV is designed to roll off the well-deck of an amphibious assault ship in the open ocean, swim through rough surf zones, and seamlessly transition into a high-speed land combat vehicle.
