De Tomaso Reloaded + Maserati Meeting - Motor Valley Fest Modena 2026 - Pantera, Vallelunga, Shamal

On May 30, 2026, Modena celebrated the legend of Alejandro de Tomaso with the "De Tomaso Reloaded" rally, one of the events scheduled for the Motor Valley Fest. The event brought the unmistakable roar of Modena's American-powered supercars back to the heart of the Via Emilia. I went to the rally's start, where seven cars were present, all Pantera models, including a splendid Group 4 racing version. The icing on the cake: an extremely rare Vallelunga example, one of 53 production examples assembled by Carrozzeria Ghia with a fibreglass body, a mid-rear engine, and dedicated to racing. The morning gathering took place in the parking lot of the Hotel Raffaello in Modena, and, in addition to the De Tomasos, a group of Maseratis from the 1980s and 1990s, including the Ghibli, Shamal, and 422, joined them. L'evento ha riportato nel cuore della Via Emilia il rombo inconfondibile delle supercar modenesi a propulsione americana. Sono andato alla partenza del raduno , dove erano presenti sette vetture, tutte modello Pantera, tra cui una splendida versione da corsa Gruppo 4. Ciliegina sulla torta: un rarissimo esemplare di Vallelunga, uno dei 53 esemplari di serie assemblati dalla Carrozzeria Ghia con scocca in vetroresina, auto con motore centrale posteriore, votata alle corse. Il raggruppamento mattutino si è tenuto presso il parcheggio dell'Hotel Raffaello, a Modena, e, oltre alle De Tomaso, si è unito a loro un gruppo di Maserati degli anni '80-'90, tra cui Ghibli, Shamal e 422.
