Kidney donor shocked by extra costs #shorts

An Ontario woman who is donating her kidney to her sister in Nova Scotia says the experience will cost her several thousand dollars. That's because Nova Scotia will not cover the expenses of a companion travel with her to support her recovery. She thinks the financial burden is a deterrent from promoting more live donations.
