He emphasized strict vigilance, the removal of illegal settlements, and the allocation of government housing. Over ₹6,000 crore has been sanctioned for urban development projects over the next five years, with ₹1,200 crore earmarked for 2025-26. More than 7,800 projects have been approved, including government offices, markets, EV charging stations, and community facilities. A new portal has been launched to monitor project progress.
