50% new, they said. 👀 The new S-Class is here, and somebody at Mercedes really wanted you to notice it in the dark — the grille's 20% bigger, fully illuminated, and even the bonnet star lights up now. Subtle? Never was the brief. Step inside and the wood is gone. The buttons are gone. In their place: a 14.4-inch Superscreen, a 12.3-inch passenger display, and a 12.3-inch digital cluster — basically a cockpit that runs on MB.OS. Even the AC vents are motorised now. Some problems didn't need solving. Mercedes solved them anyway. But the real headline: for the first time in India, the S-Class goes PHEV. The S 450e pairs a 3.0L turbo-six with an electric motor for 435bhp, 680Nm, and 100km of pure EV range. Mumbai to Pune? You'll make it to Khopoli on electrons. The rest is what the six-cylinder is for. Level 2++ ADAS, rear-seat tablets, OTA updates — this car basically has a better resume than most of us.
