This is a Motormouth couple car review of the updated 2026 Honda Pilot, 3-row, mid-size SUV. What’s New with the 2026 Honda Pilot? Honda adds more standard features, an updated cabin with larger screens and the latest HMI software for improved processing times. The Pilot has a new larger grille, more pronounced front and rear scuff plates, more colour options for the exterior and interior, improved steering feel, quieter cabin and roof rails are standard. The TrailSport trim adds a new larger grey grille, new orange trim on the Pilot logo, a 360-camera, a larger silver rear scuff plate and exclusive Ash Green exterior colour. The 2026 Honda Pilot is powered by a 3.5L V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. In Canada, standard AWD but in the US, FWD and AWD options are available. There are so many standard features for the 2026 Honda Pilot, a 10.2” digital driver display, 12.3” touchscreen with Google built-in, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 9-speaker audio system, cloth upholstery, heated front seats, 10-way power driver’s seat, 4-way power passenger seat, heated steering wheel and a power tailgate. In the US, the heated steering wheel is not standard. This 2026 Honda Pilot is a 7-8 passenger SUV and there’s an available removable second row middle seat which is a clever system, it’s offered on three trims in Canada and five trims in the US.
