Along the way, we stumble across a mysterious cave carved into the rock. Is it limestone? Sandstone? We’re not geologists, but it’s wild either way. We also find a stunning waterfall hidden deep in the woods — one of those places you only discover when you put in the miles. After one last backcountry campsite, we make the journey out to our off-grid, water-access cabin — a long drive and boat ride away, but the perfect place to wrap up an unforgettable trip.
