Audi's last Dance in DTM? - Abt Red Bull Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II - DTM 2024 - PURE V10 SOUND

ABT Sportsline is the most successful active DTM team. For 25 years, the Kempten-based team competed in the racing series with Audi's. The story began in 2000 with the Abt-Audi TT-R, which ABT developed themselvs and used to beat the factory teams of Mercedes-Benz and Opel in 2002. This was followed by four more drivers titles, five team titles, 75 victories, 259 podium finishes, 92 pole positions, and 85 fastest laps. In 2007, 2008, and 2009, ABT achieved the only title treble in DTM history to date. The team is switching to Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo II for the 2025 season. The driver paaring consist of the former SSR Performance Team mates Nicki Thiim and last year's champion Mirko Bortolotti. Abt was forced to leave Audi behinder after their announcement to step back from customer racing to focus only on F1. The last produced Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II was sold in 2024. This marks the end of the legendary V10 Audi in the GT3 category and therefore also in DTM? Not yet!
