Many dog owners love to groom their dogs at home these days. But with oodles of Poodles and so many long-haired breeds out there, matting can be a big problem. Dog behaviourist and dog trainer, Lara Shannon, catches up with Petstock groomer, Danny, to get the lowdown on how to groom dogs with matted fur. Danny explains that matting can be really painful for a dog. She talks about some of the methods often used by home groomers to deal with matting, and discusses the effectiveness (or not) of each method.
