Great run from Dad Magpie - his leg looks 100%! Magpies getting feeds under bales – Australian birds

Dad's run starts at 7:31 – the first long run from him I've seen since he was injured. It looks really good. The bales aren't great but there's a lot of them and a half-decent one at the start and end. It was kind of Mum to show the skink to the camera at 7:05 before she leaves with it. Mum comes solo first visit, only one decent bale out of four. They both show up lkater Sometimes bales left for a long time can be teeming with critters but all the rain has made them heavy and I suspect the underside is too soggy and dense for most insects. I expected more action about the very edges of the bales but it looked very quiet. This bad bale issue was caused by all parties – the magpies for not coming often enough and me for not checking and moving the bales sooner.
