First Revenue Ride on V/Line H Set in South Australia

On the 3rd of December 2025 the SteamRanger Heritage Railway in South Australia welcomed their ex V/Line H Set into their operational fleet on The Cockle Train. This revolutionises their operations allowing for air conditioned comfort and some rest for their more frequently used carriages. These 6 H cars, or two 3 car H sets were part of a donation from V/Line and the Victorian Government itself. The Cockle Train is a wonderful heritage experience taking you between Victor Harbor and Goolwa through Middleton and Port Elliot. Past the Port Elliot Bakery, the beaches of Victor Harbor, the wharf at Goolwa and so much more!
