Stratford train and tube station is closed due to a fire in an area beside the tracks. London Fire Brigade (LFB) said eight fire engines and about 60 firefighters are attending and have asked people to avoid the area. Station Commander Scott Thorpe, who is at the scene, said the fire is located within an area of grass and shrubbery surrounded on all sides by railway tracks. In an update at 2045 BST, LFB said there are "multiple seats of fire involving trees, shrubbery and grass near the railway tracks remain alight".
