670WHP 1951 VW BEETLE RUNS 6.0's FOR THE 1/8 MILE ALL DAY LONG !!

Fredde Hökåsen was at Malmo Raceway in Sweden for the EU Flat Four Shootout, a Test & Tune day over the 1/8 mile. His 1951 VW Beetle, has a 2833cc air-cooled turbo'd VW Flat Four engine, and pushes out 670HP at the wheels. He did run a best over the Weekend of 5.96, which I unfortunately missed, but he also did four runs of 6.0. His best for the 1/4 mile is 9.20 at 154mph.
