Stop the demolition and privatisation of public housing in Waterloo

Housing activists — organised by Action For Public Housing — marched through Redfern on May 24 to protest the imminent demolition and privatisation of public housing in #Waterloo Estate. A group of activists camped overnight and, on May 25, protested attempts to fence off the houses earmarked for demolition. Greens MP Jenny Leong and Paul Keating, the Sydney branch secretary of the Maritime Union of Australia supported the campaign.
