The Stolz Telecom team has taken officer safety to the next level with the upgrade of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s network. They replaced the aging low-band system with a Tait vote-scan multicast system, designed using Tait technology. Initially, convincing the team to move from a VHF system in rural areas to a P25 700 MHz system was a challenge, but the feedback since its implementation has been overwhelmingly positive. Oklahoma Highway Patrol now calls PatrolNet one of the best systems they’ve had, offering reliable inter-state connectivity and improved operational safety.
