NYSTRÖM RACING 1000HP VW BEETLE RUNS A 5.11 FOR THE 1/8 MILE !

It was so cool to finally film the Nyström Racing VW Beetle. We hung out with Leif and the team whilst he tried to dial in his beetle to the sticky 1/8 mile track at Malmo in Sweden for the EU Flat Four Shootout. He ran several low 5 second passes with a best of 5.111 at 222kph. His final run with the big wheelie resulted in parts damage, that meant he could not continue, but he left being the quickest car at the event. (Thanks to Susanne Nyström for footage of that run) Hopefully we get the chance to film Leif over the 1/4 mile in the future. Thanks again to all the team for their time.
