Fireworks set to light up skies above Dundas Driving Park for Victoria Day

Fireworks are back in the City of Hamilton for Victoria Day this May long weekend. The Dundas Driving Park will be booming with the show in the sky, along with plenty of other activities. The park is expected to be packed for the fireworks show, which starts at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. There’s also going to be live music, food trucks and more, but this isn’t the only event going on in our area this long weekend. As boats go in the water at Bayfront Park, and people take their dogs out for a walk, the long weekend is in the air. That fun can also be had in your own backyard with some fireworks. Victoria Day is one of two holidays where residents are legally allowed to set off their own backyard fireworks in Hamilton between dusk and 11 p.m.
