Patrick asserts that the "Acts 2:38 experience" of speaking in tongues constitutes irrefutable evidence, yet he fails to recognize that subjective, personal experiences are indistinguishable from faked or mental phenomena and do not meet the burden of proof for anyone else. When his scriptural arguments are exposed as contradictory to Jesus's own words regarding salvation, the caller resorts to a "No True Scotsman" fallacy to dismiss the host's former religious background. Desperate to salvage his position, Patrick pivots to a logically bankrupt denial of evolution, conflating scientific inference with "guessing" and ignoring the massive body of evidence for common ancestry. The hosts ultimately terminate the call as Patrick’s "evidence" devolves into a series of biological misconceptions and irrelevant theological minutia.
