The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain and storm in five states just before Holi. In Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, today there can be heavy rain along with winds at a speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in the northeastern states. In Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha, winds are likely to blow at a speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour throughout the day.
