Great Lakes ~ SNOW'S LAST SUNRISE AT NEST & FEEDINGS BY HARRY & HARRIET BEFORE NEST COLLAPSE 6.2.26

This is footage from June 2nd 2026 before the nest collapse. The video opens with Harry flying into the nest with a stick and trying to find a place for it. Even with the precarious tilting of the nest, it did not change the way the eagles behaved. They brought in sticks, fish and fed Snow, sometimes perching on the nest, other times on the nest rails or nearby branch. The sunrise on the morning of June 2nd was gorgeous! Snow was looking out across the water and imprinting his natal nest for remembrance. It has been noted that adult bald eagles return within a 25 mile radius of their natal nest to build a nest & raise a family. Snow will remember his nest area. ♥ Harry will bring a fish and Harriet will follow with her own fish. Harry flies off and Harriet feeds Snow. Then Harry returns with another fish and he feeds snow. This will be the last time that Harry will feed Snow 💔 Snow tries to move a nest rail that is sticking up, does wingers and looks out across the Lakes. Harry arrives back with a HUGE fish and Harriet lands right after him and claims it. She takes it to Snow and begins a feeding. Harry remains on the SB for few minutes - this is the last coverage of our entire family together. This is also Harriet's last time she will feed Snow before the nest collapse. I included the nest collapse at the end of the video, an ending to a great nest, but a new beginning for Snow who was rescued rapidly after the nest collapse and is currently getting the best medical care at North Sky Raptor Sanctuary! I wish Snow a speedy recovery and release in the immediate area to begin to live the life he was born to live - as a great apex raptor with strong courageous genes from Mom & Dad. Harry & Harriet are resilient eagles - they will carry on like the majestic raptors that they are! Thank you for watching!
