Recite Surah Al-Baqarah in your Home

Your home changes when the Quran is recited inside it. Not just physically. Spiritually. The Prophet ﷺ warned us not to turn our homes into places empty of remembrance — like graveyards. And among the greatest sūrahs of protection is Sūrah al-Baqarah. A house in which it is recited becomes guarded. Protected. Filled with barakah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Do not turn your houses into graveyards. Verily, Shayṭān flees from the house in which Sūrah al-Baqarah is recited.” — Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim And regarding the last two verses, he ﷺ said: “Whoever recites the last two verses of Sūrah al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him.” — Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī & Muslim Many homes today are filled with noise — but empty of Qur’an. Filled with entertainment — but lacking tranquility. Sometimes the anxiety, heaviness, tension, and darkness we feel in our homes are not solved by changing furniture, paint, or lighting… But by bringing the words of Allah back into the house. Recite Sūrah al-Baqarah. Play it often. Teach it to your children. Let your walls hear Qur’an more than they hear heedlessness.
