RARE Le Mans Edition R33 GT-R // 800HP Street Car (Full Build)

Is this the rarest car we've ever had in the shop? We give this Le Mans Edition R33 GT-R a new life with a RARE WiseSports Body Kit. This R33 GT-R is not like the others. With only 188 ever built you could say this car is pretty special. When this car was sent off for panel and paint we uncovered some livery suggesting this car has a racing heritage. The Wise Sports bodykit is rumoured to make this 1 of 25 in the world. Our good friend, Himmy has asked us to bring this incredible R33 Skyline GT-R LM back to it's glory days and that means some high quality original style parts with a modern day twist. Parts included in the build: RB26/30 Spool 3.4L Stroker Kit ARP 2000 Head Studs Gates Timing Gears Greddy Twin T67 Turbos Greddy Manifold Kinsler Mechanical Fuel Pump PRP Trigger Kit Hypertune V1 Manifold ATI Balancer Nitto Intake Gaskets Trust Sump Samsonas RS90 5-Speed Sequential Gearbox For this build we complete an underbody restoration including a colour matched raptor lining. Engine assembly and install of the RB26/30 3.4L High Mount Twin Turbo. We also complete some bodykit adjustment prior to sending the car off the have fabrication work completed. When we get the car back from fabrication with some incredible titanium installed by Impress Race Fab including a mint side exit exhaust. Justin finishes off the plumbing and creates a surge tank. Sam and Andy go through the process of measuring up a clutch for the Samsonas Sequential Gearbox and Sam gives some extra insight into how flat shifting works with the help of a load cell. The genuine white Nismo LMGT1's are an absolute stand out feature of this build but they do come with the controversy of needing spacers...luckily for us this build has a modification plate to allow for the spacers and we can't wait to see how it looks when it's done. We just need to finish some wiring and setup the Emtron ECU and we'll have that RB26/30 singing. Spoiler, it wasn't quiet that simple. During our journey to starting the R33 GT-R LM we learn about Andy's conspiracy theories, Sam's opinions on soldering and we also begin to develop a drift robot that's certain to be a huge success. This spicy, wide unit is ready to pop flames and rip! The Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R LM Edition is on the dyno and it's 3.4L RB is the biggest we've ever tuned. EMTron ECU, Twin Turbos, Samsonas 5-Speed Sequential Gearbox and that 3.4L Bottom End is a stacked combo sure to easily get us to our goal of 800-850HP on the dyno. Before we get out on the road we have a few things to finish off including the install of the Motec C1212 Dash and some Hardrace goodies to get the wheel alignment just right. Once everything has been finalised we get to take the R33 GT-R LM out on the road for the final tests including the flat shifting of the Samsonas 5-Speed Sequential Gearbox. The car looks and sounds incredible on the road with the high mount Greddy Twin T67 Turbos singing as it eats up the streets. The engine performance was unreal and made for a very exciting driving experience. We've got more big builds on the way.
