60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - MD11 near VERTICAL TAKEOFF & Go Around - TRIJETS ONLY (4K)

60 Minutes pure aviation, today with trijets only. Due to the incident last week all MD11`s have been temporary grounded. The Md11 is one of my favorite airplanes and today I would like to show you the incredible power of the MD11. I filmed a Western Global Departure a few years ago and the aircraft was fully empty. The climb rate was unbelievable and I never thought such a heavy plane could perform a rocket takeoff like that. The aircraft departed empty to Hahn (25 Minutes flight) but the performance was still impressive. I also included the only MD11 Go around I have ever filmed which occured at Cologne. The reason was an Egypt Air Cargo A300 which didn` t vacate the runway fast enaugh. I didn` t just included the MD11, I also included other beautiful Trijets I have filmed within the past 12 years.
