Description
An unusual Boeing 747 Landing. While filming this I was almost 100% sure this would end up in a go around. You can see the touchdown zone markings on the runway and the B747-400 Freighter touched down way beyond the touchdown zone. The runway at Liege is almost 4000m long which is the reason why they were able to land anyway.
Air Central is a rather new B747 operator at Liege Airport and they connect Zghenzhou with Liege up to foure times / week. The classic livery of this B747 looks quite stunning and I always enjoy seeing them. Currently the airline operates 2 B747 Freighters.
