Description
When winter comes and there is mud everywhere, where do you head? You head for the beach and the chalk hills where it is relatively dry underfoot 😀 This walk is a regular of mine and starts at the Sandbanks Ferry, following Shell Bay and Studland Beaches to reach Studland village before climbing up onto the Purbeck Ridge at Ballard Down, and rounding Old Harry Rocks to return via Studland and the beaches again. Starting and finishing with a ferry ride across the Poole Harbour entrance, 300 meters of rushing water.
This was a spectacular day with bright sunshine and amazing light......but it was COLD 😀!
Part 2 follows soon, don't miss it 😀
