緣深感應就很快 Resonance is very swift with deep affinity 又於過去有 Moreover, in the past, there was 淨月佛 Pure Moon Buddha 山王佛 Mountain King Buddha 智勝佛 Wisdom Excellence Buddha 淨名王佛 Pure Name King Buddha 智成就佛 Wisdom Accomplished Buddha 無上佛 Unsurpassed Buddha 妙聲佛 Wonderful Sound Buddha 滿月佛 Full Moon Buddha 月面佛 Moon-Countenance Buddha 有如是等不可說佛 there were inexpressibly many Buddhas such as these 地藏菩薩 Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva 末後告訴我們 in the end tells us 像他所說的這些佛 that the number of Buddhas like the ones he has described 數量是無量無邊 is infinite and boundless 這是教給我們 This is to teach us 要稱念諸佛的名號 to invoke the names of all Buddhas 名號功德不可思議 as the merit and virtue of these names are inconceivable 通常我們偏讚阿彌陀佛 Usually, we specifically praise Amitabha Buddha 彌陀名號功德不可思議 The merit of Amitabha’s name is inconceivable 其實每一尊佛的德號 In fact every Buddha’s sacred name 都是不可思議 is equally inconceivable 跟阿彌陀佛 Compared with Amitabha Buddha 沒有兩樣 there is no difference 這才真正突出 This truly highlights 佛法裡面所說的 the principle in the Buddha-dharma 法門平等 that all dharmas are equal 無有高下 with no one being superior or inferior 所以稱念任何 Therefore, reciting the name of any 一尊佛的名號 Buddha 都有同樣的成就 leads to the same achievement 世尊在這麼多 Among so many names 名號當中 the World-Honored One 特別跟我們介紹 specifically introduced to us 阿彌陀佛 Amitabha Buddha 這個原因又何在 Why is that? 佛家常講 Buddhism often says 佛不度無緣之人 The Buddha does not save those without affinity 理上雖然 In principle 是平等的 all is equal 可是事上有差別 but in actual circumstances there are differences 這個差別都在緣分 These differences lie in karmic affinity 所以我們成就 Therefore our attainments 就不一樣 are not the same 而阿彌陀佛 And Amitabha Buddha 與我們特別 has a particularly strong 有緣分 karmic affinity with us 在菩薩裡面是 Among Bodhisattvas it is 觀世音菩薩 Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva 佛裡面是 Among Buddhas it is 阿彌陀佛 Amitabha Buddha 與娑婆世界的緣 Their karmic affinity with the Saha World 非常非常之深 is extremely deep 有緣而且緣深 With such deep affinity 感應就很快 the resonance is very quick 非常快速 extremely fast 也非常之深 and very profound 恭選自『地藏菩薩本願經』　　（第三十四集）　　1998/5　　新加坡淨宗學會檔名：14-012-0034 Respectfully selected from Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva Pūrvapraṇidhāna Sūtra (Episode 34) May 1998 Amitabha Buddhist Society (Singapore) File No.: 14-012-0034
