Watch a BLM Mustang's First Ride Outside the Corral

Today I ride my mustang Rooster out of the corral and around our property as part of his early mustang training and preparation for his first mountain ride. This video follows a real BLM mustangs journey. It's har to believe we adopted this mustang 10 months prior. He has been a dream horse. Rooster was adopted in March of 2025 and was completely untouchable, and over the last 10 months we’ve worked through groundwork, saddling, and early rides with patience and consistency. Although this is the third time riding him out of the corral, it’s the first time we’re sharing it on a full video as we get him ready for his first true mountain adventure.
