Too hot for Messi? Argentina train in the heat for Friendly with Zambia

Lionel Messi and Argentina worked out on Monday, a day ahead of their friendly against Zambia at La Bombonera. Messi was a halftime substitute in the 2-1 victory over Mauritania on 27 March but is expected to start on Tuesday. Manager Lionel Scaloni is planning on evaluating the La Albiceleste's performances in the two friendlies before selecting his final 26-player roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The defending champions will be in Group J of the tournament, alongside Algeria, Austria and Jordan.
