Biggest Boxing Champ Ever Nikolai Valuev Vs Monte Barrett, WBA Title Bout, Highlights & Knockdowns Nikolai Valuev The Worlds Largest Heavyweight Boxing Champion in History 7 feet 2 inch Nikolai Valuev faced off against Monte Barrett 6 feet 3 inch , As Valuev Defended his WBA Heavyweight championship belt. Valuev may not of possessed the skills or the speed of Heavyweight boxing greats, though, he did have victories over Evander Holyfield, John Ruiz, etc. And surprisingly showed incredible speed and movement in this fight and other bouts. Nikolai Valuev was never knocked down in his entire boxing career, something that is incredibly rare in boxing and especially in the Heavyweight division. Valuev only retired after losing to the much smaller and very talented boxer David Haye in an unanimous decision, where he was actually rocked on a few occasions as Hay launched himself repeatably at the hulking giant. I believe that Nikolai Valuev had far more potential than most people would give him credit for. With a better training regime, he may have left a much greater boxing legacy for his name, not just going down in history as the largest ever Boxing champion to lace up his gloves.
