On the 8th of September 2006, Peter Brock would tragically lose his life during the Targa West 06 Rally event. Peter Brock's death sent shockwaves throughout Australia as motorsport had lost the king of Mount Panorama. Peter Brock had won the event at Bathurst a record 9 times in his career, and it's likely the record will never be broken.
