How to Photograph Backlit Scenes - Shooting INTO the Sun! by Austin James Jackson

One of the most challenging landscape scenes you can capture is one where you’re shooting directly into the sun. These scenes have the highest dynamic range, or the difference between the brightest and darkest pixels in the image. And because of variable results as you adjust exposure, an HDR blend isn’t always possible. In this video, you’ll learn exactly how to shoot backlit images in a single shot to maximize the amount of data in both the shadows and highlights.
