Now during this time we saw as Oliver wrung out bug intestines into Mark’s mouth, as they hunted for eggs to give him more protein to help him heal, and how slowly but surely Mark began to recover from his injuries with his stomach finally healing over and his brain healing enough for him to have dreams again, but it all finally ends once Mark wakes up and immediately begins walking towards the gravesite nearby probably fearing the worst, as behind him Oliver tells Nolan a story about that time he was feeling freaky at Red Lobster. Now here is where we get a major difference from the comics where in the TV show, Omni Man tells Mark that he’s been out for TWO MONTHS, VS the 10 months that they were gone for in the comics and this means that Mark’s healing and I guess Viltrumite healing overall is MUCH better in the show version of things, but also this is possibly due to just HOW LONG 10 months is when you consider the fact that you also have the whole war going on in the background, so condensing this time period to just 2 months works just fine.
