India's car market is going through a crisis where the car makers are constantly increasing prices month on month and at the same time have to offer huge levels of discounts and people are unable to buy these Overpriced SUVs making a situation for a big crisis. In this video we will talk about how India's car market entered into a crisis in 2018-19 where our GDP growth rates crashed and people were unable to afford cars then at the same time our government imposed GST on cars and skipped BS5 for BS6 and made two airbags mandatory in every vehicle increasing the prices of cars significantly and then at the same time big NBFC's in India started to collapse making it harder to finance cars due to which our car market fell by 15% in a single year and more than 3.5 lakh People lost their Jobs. Now in 2025 same situation is happening where people's income is not increasing but at the same time car prices are increasing and government in implementing BS7 making it almost impossible for car makers to make diesel SUVs.
