Description
In this short Friday update, Steve walks us through his progress on the Wespe transmission, cleaning and freeing up the gear shafts, housings, and internal components.
We then compare it to the Panzer II Ausf. C transmission we’ll be using — a unit in far poorer condition and missing several critical components — highlighting just how different two outwardly similar systems can be once they’re opened up.
To finish, we take a look at the engine we’ll be using for the Wespe project, a Cummins 6BT, and how it fits into the overall plan moving forward.
A straightforward workshop update showing real progress, real problems, and practical solutions.
