Cristofer Ortega came to the United States as a child. Now 21 and living in New Jersey, Ortega was recently deported to Honduras despite having legal protections that would have allowed him to eventually become a permanent resident. NJ Spotlight News correspondent Raven Santana recently spoke with Ortega about what he experienced in the immigrant detention facility, his mental health and potential next steps.
