Description

The sounds of a flock of wild budgies making typical chirrup calls in the Australian outback. One of the world's best know parrot species, the Budgerigar (aka budgie or parakeet) is a small parrot found across much of Australia, especially in arid regions. They make a range of sounds including a liquid warbling chirrup and a short buzzy harsh rattling calls. The Budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus) calls in this video were recorded in Sturt National Park, NSW, Australia.
