Description

What a weekend at the Nürburgring! Volkswagen brought the heart of GTI culture to the legendary @24hnbr - and it was unforgettable. It began with a moment of celebration: the world premiere of the new Golf GTI EDITION 50. Unveiled in front of a huge crowd, this anniversary model is not only the most powerful production GTI yet – it's also the fastest Volkswagen production model on the Nordschleife. Then came the ultimate test: 24 hours of endurance racing. With record-breaking 280,000 spectators lining the track, the Golf GTI Clubsport 24h took on the challenge – powered by an innovative fuel made from 60% renewable raw materials. Through heat, chaos and nightfall, the GTI proved its strength, securing a class victory in AT3 and finishing 24th overall out of 135 cars. The Nürburgring delivered everything: adrenaline, emotion, and that unmistakable GTI feeling. From the Ring Boulevard to the “Green Hell” – this was a celebration of what makes Volkswagen and GTI truly iconic. Huge thanks to #MaxKruseRacing, our drivers, crew & fans.
