Iran de-escalation needed after ‘reckless attacks’, UK Foreign Secretary says | BBC Radio 4 Today

The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he has agreed to an American request to use British bases to attack Iranian missiles sites, in order to protect British lives. He previously refused permission to use UK military bases to support any potential strikes on Iran. Speaking on the Today programme Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper told the BBC’s Nick Robinson that preventing missile strikes on countries in the Middle East where there were so many British citizens was the right thing to do.
