Ostrich Outsprints Cheetah in Wildest Footrace Ever Caught on Camera

This is the incredible moment an ostrich outran a hunting cheetah in the animal kingdom’s fastest footrace. Jaycee Botha was in South Africa’s Kruger National Park when a big cat set its sights on a large meal. Dramatic footage captured the cheetah as it launched its assault on a flock of ostriches, leading them to scatter. The cheetah pursued one of the flightless birds who dodged and weaved in a desperate and ultimately successful attempt to avoid being dinner.
