The artist we’re introducing today is sushi artist Yujia Hu, who treats pieces of nigiri sushi like a canvas to create an entirely new world of art. Using ingredients such as seaweed and salmon, Hu recreates anime characters and famous paintings in a style similar to character bento. He also expresses fashion items like sneakers and bags, as well as portraits, all made from sushi. Inspired by street fashion? Sushi artist Yujia Hu has recreated popular characters such as Venom and Majin Buu on nigiri sushi. He also pays homage to luxury brands like GUCCI and SUPREME. In addition, he has produced many unique works inspired by iconic sneakers from brands like Nike and Adidas. Since everything is made from edible ingredients, the artworks can of course be eaten.
