Description

There's nothing quite like seeing, and hearing, a gaggle of WW2 fighter aircraft over-head at relatively low level, with great engine audio that's not polluted by an airshow PA system. More WW2 Aircraft: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE903742711701B28 Feturing distinctive three Spitfires, a Griffon-powered Mark XIV, a dual-seat Spitfire Tr.9 post-war training variant, and the classic lines of a Mark IX, along with a Goodyear-built FG-1D Corsair, P-40 Kittykawk (Warhawk for our Amercian friends), and a Soviet Yak-3 fighter, this video as a WW2 aviation enthusiasts dream. Following a couple of interesting take-off runs (look at how that Mk. XIV SPitfire drifts in the wind), several of the aircraft fly over head, and that is then followed by a full-on Balbo formation flypast of all the fighters together. Finally the video ends with several of the fighters coming into land, close enough that the cameraman could have thrown a stick and hit each of the aircraft -- they were *that* close overhead. Beautiful visuals at Omaka Aerodrome in Blenheim (New Zealand), and simply stunning engine audio make this a near perfect warbird video!
