Forging a Tiny CLEAVER out of Rusty SICKLE

Yes, I forged little Cleaver from rusted sickle, it is wide in shape and has hard steel, I used stainless steel and brass to remake this antique tool into a beautiful Cleaver but razor sharp. Processing: A Tang of a Cleaver was straightened by forging, then determined the length for the workpiece and sawed off by using angle grinder, leveled the surface on the electric sharpener and removed the rest of the metal, formed the descent of the cleaver blade. The steel turned out to be extremely hard and when it came to manual processing with sandpaper I felt how good it is. For a handle my choice fell on bog oak, this ancient wood impressed me a lot. Right form was given by mini engraver to make woodturning at very high speeds that makes it polished to a mirror shine, and soaked in linseed oil with natural beeswax. The bolster I made of brass and bushing is made of stainless steel by using firm Lathe. This project was very precise and beautiful I polished blade part to a mirror finish and sharpened it like a razor, for the final sharpening I took leather, usually using it to sharpen chisels, at first it seems like little toy cleaver but it is extremely sharp.
