A Sacred Encounter: The New Pentecost Room at Notre Dame of Jerusalem Today I had the privilege of visiting a truly special place as part of a tour for certified tour guides — the newly opened Pentecost Room at Notre Dame of Jerusalem. Although the space is currently open only to hotel guests until September 1, it already radiates the spiritual beauty and grace it was designed to embody. This new room, entrusted to the Legionaries of Christ, invites you to pause, reflect, and open your heart to the Holy Spirit — just as the disciples did in Jerusalem nearly 2,000 years ago. It’s more than just a beautiful room; it’s a space of encounter, prayer, and quiet renewal in this place. The design, the light, the silence — everything in the room gently draws your attention to the mystery of Pentecost. It is meant to be part of the broader Notre Dame Experience, and once it opens to the public, I believe many pilgrims will find deep spiritual nourishment here.
