Researchers with Global Impact 2024: Saeid Baroutian

Saeid Baroutian holds the positions of Professor and Deputy Head of Department (Research) within the Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering. Additionally, he serves as the Executive Director of the Circular Innovations (CIRCUIT) Research Centre, Chair of the Engineering Sustainability Committee, and Director of the Sustainable Resource Recovery postgraduate programme. At the Researchers with Global Impact event, 2024, at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, he spoke about research and a trial to turn medical waste and greenhouse gases into sustainable products.
