After experiencing every parent's worst nightmare, John and Katie Meehan are determined to prevent it ever happening again. In May 2022, their nine-month baby girl Gigi died on her first full day of nursery, after being left unattended strapped to a beanbag. The nursery worker responsible was jailed for manslaughter, but with almost 6,000 reports of serious childcare incidents involving nursery workers in just five years, John and Katie are here today as they urge the Prime Minister to act to prevent another family going through the same tragedy.
