Ep 308 - Chosen Prophets of Allah ﷻ | Shaykh Dr. Ahsan Hanif - Qur'an Tafseer Series

In this episode of the Tafseer series, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Hanif explains Surah Maryam (51–63), where Allah ﷻ mentions the honour of His prophets and the reality of later generations. Allah ﷻ speaks about Prophet Mūsā (AS), chosen as a messenger, called near Mount Ṭūr, and supported by his brother Hārūn (AS) as a prophet. He also mentions Prophet Idrīs (AS), a man of truth whom Allah ﷻ raised to a high station. The prophets from the descendants of Adam, Nūḥ, Ibrāhīm, and Ya‘qūb (AS) are described as humble, falling in prostration and weeping when Allah’s verses were recited to them.
