Very soon guests will need to pass through security just to enter CityWalk which is a big operational shift for Universal Studios Hollywood 🎭 Feature Presentation now closed Feature Presentation has officially been closed off. This space previously hosted the Wicked meet and greet and featured a large selection of Wicked merchandise. All signs point to this location being converted into Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift merchandise to hype up the new roller coaster 🎉 FanFest Nights construction begins April 23 Work has officially started on the Forbidden Forest attraction for FanFest Nights. This experience will take place inside the extended queue for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and construction is already underway 🚗 Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift updates While on the Studio Tour we spotted new theming elements being installed for Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift. Momentum is clearly building for this massive new coaster project 🌊 Earthquake attraction status Earthquake is currently closed for an extended period of time with no reopening date announced yet. We will keep an eye on this one as updates come in 🎥 Active filming on the backlot Filming is still actively taking place in the Metropolitan sets for the upcoming Jumanji movie starring Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Jack Black 🤠 Western sets being demolished The Western sets are actively being torn down right now. This could open the door for a brand new Studio Tour attraction in the future and the changes are already very noticeable 🛍 New 101 Exchange sign installed A brand new 101 Exchange store sign has been installed above the Hollywood Drift area signaling the future gift shop location tied to the new coaster 🌊 WaterWorld closed for FanFest Nights WaterWorld is closed for an extended period as preparations continue for FanFest Nights.
