Description

It's back! First off thank you all for the wait, I know it's been a while. In this episode I put a tonne of work into getting these 3D prints to sit nicely and smooth out any imperfectsions. There were so many more setbacks than I planned for and just about every step of this process went wrong. But, this is all part of learning and I can't beat myself up too much. You learn more through your mistakes than your successes. I'm back to my regular uploads so you can expect a new video every 2 weeks (1 week to film, 4 days to edit, 3 days off to work on other things) Thank you all again for sticking with me. I hope you enjoy all the videos to come as we wrap up this Stagea build this year and start mixing in other projects. Enjoy the video. Please consider supporting me on Patreon. There's a lot of time and cost in making these videos and I would love to be able to do these full time to make even more content for you. There are heaps of special rewards and behind the scenes posts so please check it out. https://www.patreon.com/TofuAutoWorks If you enjoyed this video also feel free to checkout my Instagram where I post regular updates on all of my builds. https://www.instagram.com/tofuautoworks/ Timestamps: 00:00 - Intro 00:19 - Recap 00:38 - Trimming the new 3D printed parts 03:01 - Bonding to the car 04:41 - Strengthening with expanding foam 07:13 - Applying first layer of filler 09:10 - Initial rough block sanding 10:34 - Fixing imperfections 11:35 - Finishing the inner radius 12:15 - Upper body line 13:30 - Finishing the rear fender 15:35 - Block sanding the front fender 17:23 - Trick for extra crisp bodylines 18:32 - Main front fender section finished 20:17 - Marking out the front bumper piece 21:43 - Sanding front bumper piece 25:45 - Finishing the front bumper section 26:23 - Joining the two parts 27:25 - Completed fender 27:43 - Final checks 28:12 - Front fitment issues 29:52 - Rear fitment and symmetry 31:12 - Test fitting sideskirt 32:11 - Outro
